Terms of service

By commission me, it means you have read and accepted all the terms outlined above. You will agree to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes, or commercial use and provide all image credits to me.

PROCESS:

-For a commission, please provide me with at least one clear reference image of the character(s) (preferably full body), attached in a Google Document and a description. Don’t try to submit multiple forms.
-If no such reference is available, I will consider the commission to include character design, which comes with additional fees.
-I retain the right to slightly modify/interpret a design into my own style, if necessary, modify colors to suit the lighting of the artwork.
-Detailed and complex designs like armor, intricate lace designs etc., that will take considerably more time to draw, and render may have additional fees.
-I will try my best to finish your commission, it depends on the design complexity and other commission i'm working on. In case any delays happen (due to personal issues) I will let you know.
-If you have a set deadline, notify me in advance please, I’ll decide if I can accept the commission or not. Deadlines of < 1-2 weeks’ time span may be charged a rush fee.
-I will try to finish your commission as fast as I can, please be patient with me. It’s never my intention to “scam” or “trick” my clients even if I take a long time with their order. I have another work and it takes time from me.
-The commissioner will receive updates on the commission process (sketch, line art, color, background). Some of the process may be streamed on Twitch (unless privacy fee is paid).
-The sketch phase is the best time for you to tell me if you’d like something changed. Don’t be shy to ask for adjustments as I try my best to pleasure the client.
-I will only make changes to the final piece if it was my mistake (missed detail that you’ve provided in the reference).
-If it’s a change you want, and I did not have clear, obvious information when you ordered the art, I will not make the changes unless additional fees are paid.
-The responsibility is on you to ensure your order contains the details you want me to follow. I will not redraw commissions unless payment is sent for a second order.
-After the project had been done and delivered, no more revisions can be made

PAYMENT:

-The main currency will be in Euros €. All transitions will be made via PAYPAL with an invoice.
-Commissions must be paid 100% upfront.
-For totals of 500€ and up, you can request to pay the first half in advance and the other half after the first sketch.
-Don’t send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot. If your project is accepted, I will send you the invoice.
-If you don’t respond within 48 hours of me contacting you about the commission, your spot will be given to someone else.
-Do not waste my time by canceling the order if you never actually intended on paying for it. If this occurs repeatedly you will be blacklisted!!
-I will not continue unpaid commissions.

COMMERCIAL LICENSE:

-The commercial fee is an additional 2x of the total price of the commission.
-When you receive profit in the media where you’re using it and/or to get attention (like YouTube videos, credit cards, banner of personal site, games, streams, etc.) credit me for the artwork!
-2x: privacy fee, I will not post any process or final images of the commission until a desired date. The work will not be streamed or shared on any social media or portfolio until the agreed upon release date.
-1.5x: rush order, Any order with deadline < 1-2 weeks

COPYRIGHT:

-I claim all the rights of the commissioned artwork, not the buyer. If you post the commission anywhere, credit me.
I am allowed to use the artwork to:
-Promote myself with it everywhere.
-Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)
-Post it wherever I want.
The buyer is allowed to:
-Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise.
-Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.
The following is considered copyright infringement:
-Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially, means making profit off it in any way without the license.
-Claiming the artwork as your own.
-Removing my signature from the artwork.
-Altering/editing the artwork without my consent.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATION:

-The buyer is not allowed a refund once I started working on the commission.
-If for any reason I am unable to finish your commission, you will receive a full refund and the current commission progress will be disposed.
-Refunds are allowed to be requested if the commission has not been started. No refunds otherwise.
-If you are getting a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.
-In case of chargebacks and/or unpaid commissions, you will lose any rights to any art/images I have produced for you. The use of these images in any form will be strictly prohibited and if necessary, I will take action via the appropriate channels to have any of my artwork taken down.

important:

If you request a PayPal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund or you break any of the terms above mentioned, you will automatically lose all the rights to the commissioned piece, I will decline the chargeback and supply PayPal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
